Laped’s almond paste is made from top grade almonds from Puglia in Italy. Thanks to its formulation, it is strong and elastic thus making it ideal for covering classic and traditional cakes and also for decorations. Its flexibility makes it possible to roll by hand and it can be easily coloured with food colouring powders, gels and pasted.

The main use of these powder colours is for brushing onto sugarwork in particular flowers. Brush onto sugar flowers to give a truly realistic appearance, or to fully colour or highlight surface decoration. You can also mix with rejuvenator spirit for painting. They can also be used to colour Royal icing and White Chocolate.
